Is Bref really free?
Yes. The Free plan has no time limit: 25 new links a month, 1,000 tracked clicks, 30 days of analytics and 2 members. No card required.
How does Bref tell a scan from a click?
Every QR code points to the short link followed by ?qr. During the redirect, Bref records the source and removes the marker: your site never sees it. That is how analytics separate scans from clicks.
Can I change a link's destination after printing its QR code?
Yes. The QR code points to the short link, not the destination. Change the destination whenever you like: printed materials keep working.
What happens if I go over my plan's clicks?
Links keep redirecting as usual. Only clicks over the limit stop being counted until next month. You can upgrade at any time.
What data do you collect about visitors?
Bref sets no cookie on your visitors and does not keep their IP address. We keep the country, device type, browser, operating system and the site they came from: enough to measure, without tracking anyone.
Can I work as a team?
Yes. The subscription belongs to the organisation, not to one person. Invite your colleagues as members or admins: everyone shares the same links and analytics.
