No. Bref runs in the browser, on desktop and mobile. Your short links and QR codes work everywhere, with no app or extension needed on your visitors' side.

A short link you can still edit, QR codes that never expire, analytics that keep scans apart from clicks, and tools to send each visitor to the right place: rules by country or device, A/B tests, opening in the app, passwords, validity dates. All of it as a team, on your own domain, with no cookie on your visitors.

Yes: the destination, title, rules and settings can change at any time. The short address stays the same, so everything already shared or printed follows the change.

Yes, with the Pro (1 domain) and Business (5 domains) plans. You add, say, go.yourbrand.com, Bref gives you two DNS records to create at your DNS host, and the HTTPS certificate is handled for you. You also choose where the domain's root and unknown addresses lead.

Yes. A link can have a start date (a countdown shows before it) and an end date (an expiry page, or another address of your choice). It can also ask for a password: once entered, it stays unlocked for 24 hours for that visitor.

With redirect rules: depending on country, device, system, browser, language, referring site or source (scan or click), visitors go to the address you choose. The first matching rule wins. You can also split visits between several destinations (A/B test) and open well-known mobile apps directly (YouTube, Instagram, Spotify...).

Yes, from a CSV file (the address and, if you like, slug, title and tags). Each row goes through the same checks as a link created by hand, and you see row by row what was created. Exporting your links as CSV is available at any time.

Yes. The QR code points to the short link, not the destination. Change the destination whenever you like: printed materials keep working.

Every QR code points to the short link followed by ?qr. During the redirect, Bref records the source and removes the marker: your site never sees it. That is how analytics separate scans from clicks.

Yes: colours, gradient, background, dot and corner shapes, margin, and your logo in the centre (error correction is raised so it stays readable). The Pro and Business plans are designed for QR codes in your brand colours. Download them as SVG for print or as PNG.

Viewable history depends on the plan: 30 days on Free, 1 year on Pro, 3 years on Business. Analytics are kept as totals per hour and per day. The visit-by-visit detail, the one in the CSV export, is erased after 30 days.

Yes, as CSV: one row per visit over the last 30 days (date, link, source, country, city, device, system, browser, referring site, A/B variant), for all your links or just one. Owners also get a summary of the week by email every Monday, which can be turned off in the settings.

Links keep redirecting as usual. Only clicks over the limit stop being counted until next month. You can upgrade at any time.

Yes. The subscription belongs to the organisation, not to one person. Invite your colleagues as members or admins: everyone shares the same links and analytics.

A member creates and edits links and views analytics. An admin can also invite people and manage domains and the organisation's settings. The owner also manages roles and the subscription.

Yes: Pro and Business come with a free 14-day trial. Your card is asked for at the start but nothing is charged before the trial ends, and you get a reminder 3 days before. One trial per person.

Every payment comes with an invoice in your name. Give your VAT number at checkout; your invoices, card and billing address are available at any time from the Billing page. Prices shown include Belgian VAT.

From the Billing page. A plan change applies right away, with the difference calculated pro rata. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid period: your links keep redirecting, and the organisation returns to the Free plan.

Bref sets no cookie on your visitors and does not keep their IP address. We keep the country and city, device type, browser, operating system and the site they came from: enough to measure, without tracking anyone.

Every destination is checked against Google Web Risk when it is saved, then regularly. A link leading to phishing or malware is refused or disabled. Every interstitial page also lets people report a link.
